21 August 2026, Sydney, Australia — VT Markets recently completed a local outreach initiative at Baan Imjai shelter in Thailand, donating daily necessities and basic furniture to support the facility’s residents and day-to-day setup.
The visit comes as social welfare programs across Thailand continue to address economic pressures and rising living costs in major urban areas. Facilities like Baan Imjai act as vital community safety nets, shifting the traditional shelter model from merely a place to sleep into an active vocational training center. Through tailored morning and afternoon sessions covering practical skills like cooking, sewing, haircutting, and community repair work, the shelter helps residents develop income-generating skills to gain long-term independence.
During the visit, team members from VT Markets handed out snacks, stationery, and daily items directly to residents. To support the shelter’s functional setup and vocational environment, VT Markets also donated a set of tables and chairs for shared administrative and communal spaces.
