5 October 2026, Chennai, India — Global multi-asset broker VT Markets has launched its flagship CSR initiative Finance Forward in India, targeting early money management skills among youths where they are needed most. In partnership with Pephands Foundation, the movement equips young students with practical financial knowledge and skills to break cycles of economic uncertainty.
In India, studies show only about 27% of adults and less than 17% of teenagers possess basic financial literacy, introducing personal finance during school years is critical.
In Chennai, VT Markets donated custom education kits to 200 students at Government Higher Secondary School, Ezhil Nagar, Perumbakkam. Alongside core stationery including pens, coloring pencils, and notepads, each kit featured an interactive financial workbook designed to teach foundational budgeting, saving, and smart spending habits in a clear, relatable format.

The project deepens VT Markets’ collaboration with Pephands Foundation, building on their joint sponsorship of the foundation’s “Run for Life” marathon earlier this year. This initiative follows VT Markets’ recent rollout in Jakarta, Indonesia, with YCAB Foundation, accelerating its drive across emerging Asian markets.
