Looking back at the BOK’s surprise rate hold in late 2025, which caused a sharp rally in the won, we should anticipate they will be reluctant to signal any easing now. Consequently, long KRW positions, perhaps through USD\/KRW put options to cap our risk, look increasingly attractive.<\/p>\n
