Every candlestick on your chart tells a story. The body tells you where price opened and closed. The shadow<\/strong> tells you where the market truly went \u2014 and what happened when it got there.<\/p>\n

A shadow<\/strong> is a line indicator located both above and below a candlestick body, representing the highest and lowest prices of a security during a specific trading period.
