USD/CHF opened the week higher, ending a two-session decline as broad US Dollar strength and the interest rate differential between the Federal Reserve and the Swiss National Bank weighed on the Swiss Franc. The pair was trading near 0.8333, close to levels last seen in May 2025. The US Dollar Index was around 102.45 and, after holding near last week’s 102.53 peak, remained at its highest level since April 2025. Markets are focused on Wednesday’s US Consumer Price Index and Thursday’s Producer Price Index, with no major Swiss releases scheduled.

Technical Overview

On the daily chart, the pair retained a bullish bias above the 50-, 100- and 200-day Simple Moving Averages, clustered between roughly 0.8167 and 0.7972. The Relative Strength Index was near 63, while the Moving Average Convergence Divergence edged into negative territory. Resistance sat at the 0.8383 high from 1 October; support levels were cited at 0.8200, then 0.8167 and 0.8102 alongside the 0.8100 marker, with 0.8000, 0.7972 and 0.7900 below. The source also stated the Swiss Franc was the strongest this year against the Euro.
