This makes interest rate derivatives, such as futures on German Bunds, an attractive position against further economic slowing.<\/p>\n
For equity traders, this data flashes a warning sign for European indices like the Euro Stoxx 50, especially for export-heavy automotive and industrial sectors. A break below the 4,800 level could trigger further selling, making put options on the index a viable strategy.
