The BLS revised February payrolls down by 23,000 to -156,000 and revised March up by 7,000 to +185,000. Combined, February and March were 16,000 lower than previously reported.<\/p>\n
Despite the data, the US Dollar Index was down 0.4% at 97.88 at the time of publication. Ahead of release, the report was expected to show 62K job growth and a 4.3% jobless rate, with wage growth seen at 3.8% versus 3.5% previously.<\/p>\n
