In Europe, the European Commission said on Tuesday that the EU trade chief urged the US to quickly restore tariffs set out in last year\u2019s EU-US trade deal. The Commission said it would help if the main terms were in place before the deal\u2019s one-year anniversary at the end of July.<\/p>\n
Reuters reported that Maros Sefcovic met US Trade Representative Jamieson Greer in Paris on Tuesday. EU concerns include Trump\u2019s threat to raise tariffs on EU cars and trucks to 25%.<\/p>\n
