Tesla has struck a US$4.3 billion supply deal with LG Energy Solution for lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries. These batteries will be used in Tesla’s U.S. energy storage systems, but not in vehicles, with production beginning in August 2027 at LG’s U.S. facilities.<\/p>\n
