Additionally, with a majority of policymakers still favoring tighter monetary policy, a rate hike this coming November remains highly probable. Short-term sterling futures are currently pricing in only a minor chance of a hike, leaving room for a sharp hawkish repricing if upcoming inflation data surprises to the upside.
